Here are the Gameday Notes as I sat on the couch and watched until BC and a fast moving 12 pack got the rest of my attention


First thought of the day – Oklahoma looks great

Nebraska is not as wide open or as fluid as I thought they would be. I was expecting more from Keller.

One of the ESPN announcers felt that the player with the most to prove today was Sean Glennon. I don’t see how that is possible. I just think he sucks. If he proves anything to me, he will prove that he is mediocre.

Nebraska comes to town and Wake Forest is not even a sellout. Large chunks of open space seen in the upper decks.

Marshall University did their school promo with two or three of the shortest, chubbiest girls you can put together up front chanting the school fight song or whatever. No SEC cheerleaders there.

How in the name of Rob Johnson did Kirby Freeman beat out Kyle Wright?

The Big 10 network is not available on Comcast apparently. I knew that but I cant believe they won’t pick it up.

Erin Andrews is actually kind of bony in her shoulders.

I have to bring up my punting theory again. There is no reason to send your punter out there when he attempts to pooch it. Send a guy out there who can only kick it 30 yards at most and who can keep it straight. You will be inside the 10 every time.

Raji’s loss is seen all over the field. Pass rush is not there.

Ryan is like Brett Favre but without the cannon. He tries to force things into places where there is little chance.

I am surprised more punters do not drop the ball, especially if they feel rushed.
